Richard Kim

Richard Kim has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Currently, they hold the position of US Head Of Employee Trading at Jefferies, where they started in November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Global Head of Control Group Surveillance at Jefferies starting in August 2021. Before joining Jefferies, Richard worked at Citi as a Vice President - Control Group from November 2014 to August 2021. Richard also worked at FINRA as a Regulatory Specialist from June 2010 to November 2014, and at NYSE Regulation, Inc. as a Principal Analyst from October 2006 to June 2010. Richard's earlier experience includes roles as a Regulatory Analyst at NASD-Amex Regulation from June 2005 to October 2006, a Proprietary Equity Trader at Spectrum Capital Partners from October 2003 to June 2005, a Proprietary Equity Trader at Worldco LLC from November 2000 to October 2003, and a Proprietary Equity Trader at Andover Trading from April 2000 to November 2000. Richard also worked as a Municipal Bond Research Analyst at Thomson Financial from October 1998 to March 2000, and as an English Conversation Teacher at Seoul Metropolitan Board of Education from September 1996 to September 1998.

Richard Kim attended Fordham Gabelli School of Business, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a double major in Management Systems and Finance. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy from Binghamton University. Richard also attended New York University, where they studied Philosophy. Lastly, they completed their high school education at Herricks High School.
