Zaki Molvi, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Associate in Biotech Equity Research at Jefferies, where the team has achieved a #1 ranking in the Institutional Investor (II) rankings for SMID biotech. Prior to this role, Zaki was the Director of Computational Biology & Bioinformatics at Omicify, focusing on developing custom bioinformatics pipelines for clients within the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. Zaki also pursued a PhD in Immunology & Pediatrics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center under Richard O'Reilly, and contributed to machine learning research at Weill Cornell Medicine. Zaki holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from UC Irvine and a Doctor of Philosophy in Physiology, Biophysics, and Systems Biology from Cornell University.
