Dr. Frederick Lydell Hamilton has worked extensively in community and economic development. Their most recent role was as the Director of Community and Economic Development for the Jefferson County Commission in Alabama. In this position, they oversaw the administration of various HUD programs, including grants for public facilities, infrastructure projects, housing rehabilitation, and assistance to homeless prevention agencies.
