Julianne Rist

Julianne Rist currently serves as the Director of Public Services at Jefferson County Public Library, having been with the organization since May 2012 and part of the Executive Team focused on enhancing community engagement. Rist previously held roles including Assistant Director of Public Services, where responsibilities included strategic planning and statistical reporting, and Library Manager at Belmar Library. Prior experience includes managing two locations at Pikes Peak Library District, implementing RFID technology, and overseeing project management for the construction of High Prairie Library. Rist's earlier career features positions such as Project Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Youth Services Librarian at Lake Geneva Public Library, and Branch Manager at Miami-Dade Public Library System. Rist holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in English & Dramatic Arts from Centre College.
