Lisa Smith, MS, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Director of People and Culture at Jefferson County Public Library, overseeing human resources, training, organizational development, and volunteer services for a workforce of 450 employees across 13 locations. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Director of Administrative Services at the American Indian College Fund, where Lisa led administrative functions, policy development, and HR oversight while focusing on operational efficiency and strategic planning. Lisa also operated as the Owner/Consultant at Foothills Training Company, providing tailored training and leadership development, and held significant HR roles at The Colorado Education Initiative and Jeffco Public Schools. Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Counselor Education and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, respectively.
