Dana Bartus

Dana Bartus is an experienced educator and outdoor guide with a diverse background in teaching, customer service, and leadership roles. Currently a Substitute Teacher at High Desert Education Service District since February 2018, Dana has facilitated classroom management and implemented lesson plans across Early Childhood Learning Centers and K-12 settings. Previous experience includes working as a Climbing Guide at Chockstone Climbing Guides and a Barista & Sales Associate at Redpoint Climbers Supply, with a focus on customer service and multitasking. Dana has also contributed as a Freelance Writer for The Source Weekly, served as Director of Sales and Executive Administrative Assistant for Where to Eat Guide & Associates, and worked as a Trip Director for Wilderness Adventures, leading extensive youth camping trips. Additionally, Dana's role as Administrative Support Guide at Ridge and Valley Charter School established organizational systems, while guiding urban youth as Art Director with Kids Corporation II emphasized ecological education and leadership. Dana holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fine and Studio Arts from Rowan University.
