Wayne Gossage, PE has extensive work experience in various roles within the energy and engineering sectors. Wayne started their career as a Co-op Student at HESM&A, Inc. in 1999. In 2001, they joined Bechtel as an Electrical Construction Engineer. Gossage then moved to Jefferson Energy Cooperative in 2007, where they held several positions, including Planning Engineer, System Engineering Supervisor, Manager of Engineering Services, and Vice President of Energy Services. Currently, they serve as Chairman of the Augusta Economic Development Authority, a position they have held since 2024. Throughout their career, Gossage has demonstrated a strong expertise in engineering and a commitment to economic development.
Wayne Gossage, PE obtained a BSET degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they pursued an ASET degree in Electrical Engineering at Augusta Technical College from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, they briefly attended the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1998.
