Xihao Hu's journey with TD began just over 11 years ago, and during this timeframe he has held the roles of TD Bank Group (TDBG) Chief Accountant; Head of Accounting, Tax, Planning and Finance Shared Services for TD Bank, AMCB; and TDBG Chief Auditor. Prior to joining TD, Xihao Hu was a partner with Deloitte in its assurance and advisory practice.
Currently, Xihao Hu is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for TD Bank, AMCB, leading a team of over 300 professionals and covering areas such as strategy and planning, line of business CFO's, treasury, capital and liquidity management, tax, financial and regulatory reporting, and related internal controls. He also leads the enterprise Vis Min pillar under the TDBG Inclusion and Diversity Leadership Council (IDLC) while chairing the IDLC for Finance globally.
Xihao Hu is a member of the Financial Services Advisory Board (FSAB) under Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA); and he is also a member of the Transition Resource Group (TRG) for Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB)'s credit losses standard. Previously Xihao Hu served on Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC), Expert Panel – Depository and Lending Institutions at American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and senior committees at Canadian Bankers Association and International Banking Federation.
Xihao Hu completed the CFO Leadership Program by Harvard Business School and the Asian American Executive Program by Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He also holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Accounting from Bemidji State University.
An advocate for giving back to the community, Xihao Hu serves on the Jefferson Health New Jersey Board – Jefferson Health is the largest health system in the Philadelphia Region, and on the Bemidji State University (BSU) Alumni & Foundation Board of Directors. He was previously a member of the Board of the Centre for Immigrant & Community Services (CICS) of Canada and Board Chair of CICS Foundation.
