Arita Bohannan

Arita Bohannan currently serves as a Councilwoman for Jefferson Parish Government, a position held since January 2024. In addition to this role, Arita Bohannan has been the Managing Partner at Nola Lawyers: Bohannan & Rogers Law Firm and The Mediation Clinic of Louisiana since 2002. Previously, Arita Bohannan held the position of Magistrate Judge for the City of Kenner from April 2017 to October 2019. Arita Bohannan earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, along with Special Certificates in Common Law and International Law.
