Hans Liljeberg

Hans Liljeberg serves as a Council Member for Jefferson Parish Government since January 2024 and holds the position of Attorney At Law at Insurance Claim HQ since March 2023. With extensive judicial experience, Hans served as a Judge on the Louisiana Fifth Circuit from January 2013 to November 2023, and previously as a District Judge at the Twenty-Fourth Judicial District Court from January 2003 to December 2012. Hans began legal career as an Assistant District Attorney for Jefferson Parish from January 2003 to July 2012 and also worked as an Assistant Parish Attorney from April 1993 to June 2003. In addition to legal practice, Hans has contributed to education as an Adjunct Professor at Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business from January 2004 to November 2023. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Tulane University Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Tulane University.
