Deborah York

Deborah York is an experienced clinical nurse manager at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff since June 2014, overseeing a cardiac/med-surg unit with a focus on ICU step patients. Prior to this role, Deborah served as a health service administrator at Corizon Health Care, managing the health care of inmates and overseeing clinical and administrative functions from December 2006 to June 2014. Deborah's career includes extensive experience as a long-term care administrator in various facilities from January 1992 to December 2006, and as the director of nursing at St. Michael's Hospital from April 1984 to October 1991, where responsibilities included managing acute telemetry, med/surg units, and engaging in staff training and policy development. Education includes a Master’s in nursing leadership from Capella University, a BSN from the University of Phoenix, and a series of nursing qualifications from NITI and St. Mary’s School of Practical Nursing.
