Deidra Dunagan

Deidra Dunagan has a strong background in healthcare administration. Deidra began their career at American Legion Hospital in 2006, where they served as the PFS Director. In 2014, they transitioned to Acadia General Hospital, taking on the role of Director of Patient Accounts/HIM. Deidra remained in this capacity until 2015 when they joined Jefferson Regional Medical Center as the Administrative Director of Revenue Cycle.

Deidra Dunagan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Information Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette between 1986 and 1990. Later, in 2015 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) from LSU-Shreveport. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in MHA from LSU Shreveport and is also certified as FHFMA from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
