Will Oren

Will Oren has extensive experience in engineering management, serving as the Engineering Division Manager at Jefferson Science Associates and Jefferson Lab since 2006, where recent responsibilities included managing engineering operations until retirement in January 2023. Prior to this, Will Oren worked at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center from February 1984 to April 1990 as the Deputy Head of the Alignment Group, overseeing the conversion of beam line optics models into alignment data for the SLC and SLAC beamline complex, ultimately leading a group of approximately 30 staff. Will Oren holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Land Surveying/Geodesy from Purdue University, completed between 1978 and 1983.
