Amanda Harbison currently serves as the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at Jefferson State Community College, a position held since January 2024. With extensive experience in higher education, Amanda has held various roles at Shelton State Community College since November 2010, including Associate Dean of Enrollment Services, Dean of Student Services, and Assistant Dean of Student Financial Aid, where responsibilities included managing federal and state financial aid processes. Previously, Amanda worked at Snead State Community College from 2008 to 2010 as the Director of Student Services, overseeing multiple areas such as recruiting, admissions, and financial aid, and earlier served as the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid from 2004 to 2008. Amanda earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from The University of Alabama between 2011 and 2017 and a Master’s degree in Education from the same institution from 2005 to 2008.
