David Bobo serves as the Director of Communications & Marketing and Director of Community & Media Relations at Jefferson State Community College since 1994. In addition to this role, David currently serves as an Advocacy Committee Member for the Alabama Association of School Boards, Board President for the Shelby County Board of Education, and President of the Indian Springs Village Kiwanis Club. David is also involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America as a Shelby County Advisory Board Member and Past President, and with Family Connection Inc. as a Board Member and Board Vice President. David holds a position on the Alabama Board of Trustees for The Delta Chi Fraternity, Inc., and has been a Board Member and Past President of Leadership Shelby County since 2005. David earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus on Public Relations from The University of Alabama.
