Julien Elric has a diverse work experience starting as a Master Intern at DKFZ in 2010. Julien then worked at University UPMC-Paris 6 as a Teaching Assistant from 2011 to 2014. Following this, at Institut Pasteur, they were a PhD Student from 2011 to 2015. Subsequently, at Institut Curie, they served as a Business Development & Licensing Manager from 2015 to 2016. Julien then moved to ICM - Brain & Spine Institute, where they held roles as Startup Manager and Incubator Manager from 2016 to 2021. Currently, they are working at JEITO, where they have progressed from an Associate to Senior Associate to Principal from 2021 onwards.

Julien Elric completed the European Magister of Genetics at Université Paris Cité from 2009 to 2011, with a focus on Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, Neurosciences, and R&D. Julien later obtained a Business Foundations Certificate from INSEAD in 2015, covering various subjects such as Prices and Markets, Entrepreneurship, and Accounting. In 2014, they pursued a DU GBM - Research Valorization and Biomedical Innovation degree at Pierre and Marie Curie University. Additionally, they attended a Molecular Biology of the Cell course at Institut Pasteur in 2011.
