Joe Grossmann

Joe Grossmann has a long and impressive career in the media and technology industries. Joe began their career in 1982 as a Research Assistant at the Siegel Institute, Michael Reese Medical Center. In 1984, they cofounded Enabling Technologies and served as VP Product Development for six years, leading development teams, art department, and marketing efforts for a series of groundbreaking graphic programs. In 1990, they joined PageWorks as Director of Special Projects and Associate Editor of ThePage, where they worked with founder and publisher David Doty to develop a series of slim educational booklets and contributed to ThePage periodical. In 1993, they founded Jell Brand Strategy and began writing columns for MacChicago/Peregrine Marketing Associates and Technique magazine. In 1998, they joined Digital Magazines/Hollinger International as Senior Editor & Art Director, where they completed a makeover of Digital Chicago and launched a sister publication, Digital New York magazine.

Joe Grossmann began their educational career at the University of Chicago, where they earned their BA in Behavioral Science from 1978 to 1982. Joe then continued their studies at the University of Chicago, earning their ABD in Biopsychology from 1983 to 1987.
