Emma Knights

Emma Knights is an experienced Health Safety Environment and Communities Manager currently overseeing the Meadowbrook Project at Jellinbah Mining, since December 2023. Previously, Emma served as the Environment and Approvals Manager, as well as the National General Manager Environment at Veolia Australia and New Zealand, where Emma led the national environmental team and established strategic direction while maintaining government relationships. Earlier roles include Manager Environment and Approvals at New Hope Group, Regional Manager at the Environment Protection Authority Victoria, and various environmental positions at Rio Tinto and Earth Tech. Emma holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Management from Murdoch University, an Honours in Biological Sciences from La Trobe University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from James Cook University.
