Abhishek Karmakar

Abhishek Karmakar is an experienced computer graphics professional currently serving as a Computer Graphics Supervisor at Jellyfish Pictures since June 2023. Previously, Abhishek held the position of CG Supervisor at DNEG, contributing to the CGI feature film "Nimona," and at Giant Animation, focusing on the development of the CGI series "MamaK 4." Abhishek's expertise also includes a significant tenure at Boulder Media as a Groom & CharacterFX Supervisor for the CGI feature film "My Little Pony G5," where responsibilities encompassed the development of grooming workflows, character FX pipelines, and team supervision. Abhishek's career began as a founding member at Prana Studio, where a 15-year tenure involved diverse roles and the establishment of the Groom & CFX department, shaping the studio’s transition to an international feature film studio.
