John Dawson

John Dawson currently serves as the VP of Strategy at Jellyfish, having joined the company in September 2023. Prior experience includes Deputy General Manager at GroupM, overseeing Unilever’s media agency operations in China. John has held key strategic roles at Mindshare, IUM Denmark, and Initiative, where notable clients such as Amazon and Hyundai were managed. Additionally, John contributed as a Board Director at UnLtd., a foundation supporting youth in Australia through the media and advertising industry. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Copenhagen Business School and another MBA with a focus on Marketing and Finance from the University of Technology Sydney. John began an academic journey with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Relations from the University of Sydney.
