Katie Sidney

Katie Sidney is the current Recruitment Manager at Jellyfish. Prior to their current role, Katie was a Resourcing Coordinator at REED from December 2013 to March 2015. There, they were responsible for recruiting for a variety of roles that Hyde required from administrators to IT specialists.

During their time at REED, Katie made sure that the team recruitment tracker was up to date and that all jobs were being worked on and progressing in the correct timeframes. Katie also handled the end-to-end recruitment process, which included meeting with hiring managers to discuss the role in detail, preparing job adds, releasing the job on the system, shortlisting CV’s, conducting telephone interviews, meeting with the manager to discuss the selected candidates, arranging interviews, ensuring that a DBS was in place if needed, and then finally offering the candidate, organising start date, preparing their contract and sending over the relevant information to HR to get the new candidate set up for payroll.

At Hyde Housing, Katie was heavily involved in the implementation of the brand new contract. Katie drafted documents ready for start of contract and tried and tested new computer systems giving feedback on what works and what doesn’t. Katie also line managed a temp administrator for 5 months and was the sole person in the team to handle temp bookings. Additionally, Katie was the longest serving member of the team and was the point of call for all queries from Hyde staff and other agencies. Katie trained three new people that joined the team during their time there, including a new team manager.

Katie Sidney has a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from the University of Essex. Katie also has a certification in Ba Hons from the university.

Their manager is Genevieve Richens, Recruitment Director.
