Dorris Corsten

Dorris Corsten is a Young Professional at Jelmer since February 2024, where engagement focuses on developing young talent in civil engineering and related fields. Concurrently, Dorris serves as a Consultant for flow planning at Alliander, dedicated to making low-voltage networks future-proof through proactive, community-oriented approaches. Previous experience includes a Graduate Internship at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, and various roles at Studio Bereikbaar and VARO Energy, where Dorris gained insights in urban accessibility, infrastructure, and advanced biofuels research. Dorris was also a board member and President of YES!Delft Students, fostering entrepreneurship among peers. Dorris holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and Policy Analysis and a Bachelor's degree in Technical Public Administration from Delft University of Technology, with additional studies in Industrial Ecology at NTNU.
