Angielou Brutas

Angielou Brutas is a skilled professional with extensive experience in workforce development and culinary arts. Currently serving as the Workforce Development Coordinator at Jenesse Center Inc. since March 2022, Angielou previously operated as a Business Owner and Pastry Chef at BakingBruin since June 2013, excelling in customer service and creating custom pastries for large events. Angielou's commitment to education and community service was demonstrated during tenure with AltaMed Health Services, where a successful transition to virtual learning for underserved students was achieved. Additional experience includes a Senior Administrative Assistant role at UCLA's Academic Advancement Program, where Angielou facilitated recruitment and onboarding processes, and a position as Food Manager at Santa Monica Farmers Market, providing educational resources on organic and sustainable eating. Angielou holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Geography and a Minor in Global Health from UCLA, along with a certification as a Master Baker from Chef Eric’s Culinary Classroom.
