Executive Director of Innovative Programming at JENISON PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Rebekah Redmer is the Executive Director of Innovative Programming at Jenison Public Schools. Rebekah has been in this position since August 2020. Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant at Central Michigan University from August 2020 to August 2021. There, they assisted in online course review, research, grading, communication, curricular alignment, and overall support for the adult learners and faculty within the Masters of Arts in Learning, Design & Technology, and Doctorate of Educational Technology programs. From June 2003 to June 2009, they were a Science Teacher at East Jordan Middle/High School, where they prepared and taught a variety of courses each year, such as advanced biology, physical science, health, and physical education. From August 1999 to June 2003, they were a Science Teacher at Fenton Area Public Schools, where they taught biology, biological chemistry, environmental science, and health at Southern Lakes Academy.

Rebekah Redmer is a doctoral candidate in educational technology at Central Michigan University. Rebekah holds a Master of Education in educational leadership and administration from Grand Valley State University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in secondary education and teaching from Olivet College. Rebekah is certified by the Michigan Department of Education in administrative certification K-12 and teacher certification 6-12.
