Kristen Gettys is an experienced Media Specialist currently serving at Jenks Public Schools since August 2017, with prior roles including School Librarian at Broken Arrow Public Schools and Youth Services Librarian at Tulsa City-County Library. Kristen's career in library services began in 2000 as a Circulation Assistant, progressing through various positions focused on youth and young adult programming, including roles at the Herman and Kate Kaiser Branch and South Broken Arrow. Kristen holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Oklahoma and a Post Graduate Certificate in Children’s Programming from San Jose State University. Additionally, Kristen has been involved in leadership programs within the Oklahoma Library Association and the Mountain Plains Library Association.
