Mark Bress

Mark Bress has a diverse work experience in finance and investment. From 2006 to 2013, they worked at Jennison Associates LLC, initially as an Associate Trading Assistant, where they performed various administrative tasks related to trading. Mark then progressed to the position of Principal, Interest Rate/Securitized Products Research & Trading, where they directly assisted portfolio managers with trade execution and allocation, while also creating and managing excel based VBA programs/models for analysis and portfolio management. Finally, they served as the Managing Director and Head of Securitized Products Trading, where they oversaw all structured product trading activity and managed the structured products portfolio. In 2018, they co-founded and became the Managing Partner at MKT Capital Partners. Prior to that, Mark worked at EMC as a Senior Credit Analyst, where they managed client portfolios, reviewed financial statements, and developed credit scoring models.

Mark Bress completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from Bentley University in 2005. Mark went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Asset Management from the Boston College Carroll School of Management, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Science in Finance (MFS) degree with a focus on Investments from Boston College.
