Dr. Volker Hartmann

Dr. Volker Hartmann has extensive work experience in various quality and management roles. Dr. Volker began their career at Infineon Technologies in 1999, where they served as Senior Manager of Quality Management until 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they worked at Signet Solar as the Director of Quality and Safety, as well as the Sales Manager for Europe. Dr. Volker then joined Allied Vision Technologies, where they served as the Head of Quality and TQM & Compliance Manager from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they worked at IHI Charging Systems International GmbH as the Head of Quality and Deputy Plant Manager from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they held the position of Head of Quality Management and Deputy Plant Manager at thyssenkrupp Automotive Systems of America, LLC. Currently, Dr. Volker Hartmann is the Global Head of Quality and EHS at JENOPTIK, a position they have held since 2017.

Dr. Volker Hartmann completed their education in a chronological manner, beginning in 1995. Dr. Volker attended Leipzig University for a period of four years, from 1995 to 1999, where they pursued a degree in Chemistry & Physics. During this time, they successfully obtained a degree and was awarded the title of "Dr. rer. nat.". Following this, Dr. Hartmann continued their educational journey at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, where they focused on the field of study of Chemistry.
