Marc Grahl

Marc Grahl serves as the Managing Director and Senior Vice President of the Strategic Business Unit Biophotonics at JENOPTIK since February 2019, focusing on the development and growth of the Biophotonics sector while holding P&L responsibility. Previously, Marc Grahl held the position of Vice President within the same unit at JENOPTIK and was instrumental in integrating an acquired medtech business. Prior experience includes roles at Carl Zeiss Meditec, where Marc Grahl established a new business segment in Routine Diagnostics and managed product development and innovation. Earlier positions include Director of Business Development at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, Senior Manager of Corporate Strategy at Daimler AG, and Consultant at Boston Consulting Group. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Energy Economics from Technische Universität Berlin, a Dipl.-Ing ETH in Energy Engineering from ETH Zürich, and a Vordiplom in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, complemented by a LEAD certificate from Harvard Business School Executive Education.
