Ryan Ketterer

Ryan Ketterer is an Optical Designer at JENOPTIK since February 2024, previously serving as an Optical Engineer at NSF's NOIRLab from September 2022 to November 2023, providing optical support for various astronomical telescopes. Ketterer also has experience as a Masters Student at ZEISS Vision, where modeling and optical analysis of micro-structured spectacle lenses was completed, and as a Project Manager at eyeMobil Innovation, focusing on portable ophthalmic equipment development. Prior roles include Innovation Consultant at enFocus Inc, Optics Laboratory Technician at the University of Notre Dame, and Research Assistant at Instituto de Física de São Carlos, where experiments with Bose-Einstein condensates were conducted. Ketterer holds a Master of Science in Optics/Optical Sciences from Friedrich Schiller University Jena and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics with an Art Studio Minor from the University of Notre Dame.
