Mats Wermelin

Mats Wermelin is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Verksamhetschef and Chef och Rektor för Vuxenutbildningen at JENSEN education since September 2017. In addition, Mats is Försäljningschef and co-founder of SharpMatch, a development company aiding educational institutions with recruitment and leadership development. Previously, Mats held the position of Regionchef for region Stockholm at Astar AB, where responsibilities included overseeing municipal adult education. Early experience includes serving as Rektor and Områdeschef at Lärande i Sverige AB, launching Realgymnasiet in Lund, and as Rektor for Grundskola at Tomelilla Kommun, significantly increasing student enrollment. Additional teaching experience spans over two decades at various schools. Mats Wermelin has completed advanced educational management training, including Rektorslyftet at Stockholm University and the Statliga rektorsutbildningen at Malmö University.
