Matthew Dempsey

Matthew Dempsey is a seasoned professional in fire engineering and structural engineering with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Principal Fire Engineering Surveyor at Jensen Hughes since September 2021, Matthew previously worked as a BCAR Assigned Certifier and Structural Engineer at GARLAND from December 2019 to September 2021. Earlier experience includes a role as a Junior Engineer at PJ Hegarty & Sons and a Student Engineer position with John Paul Construction. Matthew began his career in the service industry as a bartender at Judge Roy Beans. Educationally, Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Galway, completed in 2018, and a Leaving Cert from Patrician Secondary School, Newbridge, graduated in 2014.
