Nishant Nayan

Nishant Nayan is a highly experienced professional in the field of engineering and project management, currently serving as Director of Rail/Transit at Jensen Hughes since November 2020, where technical and project management leadership is provided on both national and international projects. Previously, Nishant held various roles including Senior Engineering Project Manager at Parsons Corporation, Consultant Engineer in Fire Life Safety and Ventilation at CH2M, and Project Manager and Lead Fire Life Safety/Ventilation Engineer at Hatch Mott MacDonald, focusing on CFD simulations, mechanical design projects, and quality assurance for ISO-9001 certification. Nishant began a career as a Post Doctoral Researcher at IUPUI, specializing in CFD analysis of pharmaceutical isolators, and also worked as an Engineer at Jet Environmental, designing energy-efficient HVAC systems. Nishant holds a PhD in CFD with a focus on bioreactors from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester.
