Tom Wood is an experienced professional in the medical device and regulatory consultancy fields. Currently serving as Regulatory Manager for JensonR+ Limited since May 2023, Tom leads a medical device team, collaborating with CE+ to offer regulatory consulting and UKRP services across the UK and Europe, focusing on various regulations including UK MDR/UKCA and EU MDR/IVDR. Prior roles include Lead Governor at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Technical Assessor at DEKRA Certification UK Ltd. Tom also has extensive auditing experience from work as Lead Auditor for Medical Devices and IVD at Lloyd's Register. Previously, Tom held managerial roles at GetJuiced Ltd and Akrams Group, as well as laboratory management and biomedical scientist positions at SureScreen Life Sciences and SureScreen Diagnostics Ltd. Tom's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Lincoln.
