Islem Cherif

Islem Cherif has a diverse work experience history. They started their career as a Graduation Intern at NOVEC sa in 2013. Later, from 2013 to 2019, they worked at Excel Ingénierie as a Civil Infrastructure Engineer/Project Manager, successfully delivering urban development and infrastructure projects in Morocco and Ivory Coast. During this time, Islem implemented sustainable and environmentally friendly practices while coordinating and managing various stakeholders.

In 2019, Islem joined JESA S.A as a Senior Civil Engineer in the Sustaining Capital Solutions Business Unit. They were responsible for preparing project documentation, communicating design intent, and collaborating with the engineering team for accurate completion. Islem was also involved in quality assurance, ensuring deliverables met project objectives and requirements.

In 2020, Islem was promoted to the role of Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at JESA S.A, demonstrating their expertise in quality management. They excelled in this role, and in 2022, Islem transitioned to become the Digital Product Manager, where they led the creation and launch of a quality assurance digital platform. Islem worked closely with the design team and prioritized features and functionalities to ensure the platform's success. They showcased their adaptability, communication skills in English, French, and Arabic, and proactive problem-solving approach.

Islem Cherif earned a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Génie civil from the Mohammadia School of Engineers from 2010 to 2013. Currently, they are pursuing a degree in Project Management for Engineers at Toronto Metropolitan University. In addition to their education, Islem has obtained certifications in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Auditor/Lead Auditor from CQI | The Chartered Quality Institute, Apollo Root Cause Analysis methodology from ARMS Reliability, and Project Management from JESA Institute, all obtained in 2022.
