Claire Wilson

Claire Wilson has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Claire currently holds the position of Editorial Director at Jessica Kingsley Publishers, Ltd since March 2020. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Commissioning Editor at the same company from September 2014 to March 2020.

In 2014, Claire Wilson also established their own business called Claire Wilson Editorial, where they served as the business owner until January 2018.

Before their time at Jessica Kingsley Publishers and their business venture, Claire Wilson worked at Elsevier from 1996 to 2014. In their role as Commissioning Editor from January 2006 to February 2014, they managed various portfolios, including international Complementary Medicine, UK Radiography, Sports Medicine, and Chiropractic. In this role, they collaborated closely with authors, provided guidance on content and formatting, managed artwork submissions, and organized video and photo shoots.

Claire Wilson started their publishing career at Elsevier as a Production Editor from June 1996 to April 2002.

Claire Wilson completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Glasgow from 1990 to 1994, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in English Language and Literature. Claire then pursued further education at the University of Stirling from 1994 to 1995, where they obtained a Master of Philosophy degree in Publishing Studies.
