Mari Kuraishi

Mari Kuraishi currently serves as the President of the Jessie Ball duPont Fund, a private foundation overseeing strategy and operations for an organization with approximately $380 million in assets. Previously, Mari co-founded and presided over GlobalGiving, a platform designed to empower vulnerable communities by connecting them with resources and support. Earlier experience includes a role as Manager of Innovation and Corporate Strategy at the World Bank, where Mari initiated the Development Marketplace, a pioneering effort in crowdsourcing innovation for development. Mari's career also encompasses serving as a Country Officer in Russia, collaborating with reformists during a transformative economic period.
