Ian Day

Ian Day has a strong background in corporate law and legal affairs, with experience in various industries. Ian worked as Group Legal Director and Company Secretary at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, where they led a team responsible for legal and regulatory affairs. Prior to that, they served as Senior Counsel in the Commercial and Airports Division at Heathrow Airport, where they provided commercial and procurement law advice. Ian also held the position of General Counsel and Company Secretary at Raymarine, overseeing legal affairs worldwide. Ian has worked as a Legal Counsel at Sony Electronics Europe, advising on commercial, corporate, and employment law matters. Ian began their career as a Corporate and Commercial Solicitor at KPMG's associated law firm, handling M&A and commercial agreements. Ian's earlier experience includes roles as an Associate at Taylor Wessing and a Trainee Solicitor.

Ian Day completed their education at several institutions. In 1994-1995, they attended Nottingham Law School where they obtained a Legal Practice Course. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1993, they pursued a BA (Honours) in Law & Politics at the University of Hull. Their earlier education includes attending Berkhamsted School in Hertfordshire from 1983 to 1990. Additionally, Ian Day obtained a certification as a Solicitor in England & Wales in 1997 from the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
