Michael Sexton

Michael Sexton currently serves as a Senior First Officer at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays since September 2023, following a tenure as First Officer at Ryanair from May 2021 to September 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Aviation Data Researcher at Cirium for a brief period in January to April 2021, and as an Aircraft Mechanic at Guidant Global in early 2020. Michael successfully completed an Integrated ATPL program at L3Harris Commercial Aviation between 2017 and 2019, achieving an 89% average in ground school and passing all relevant flight exams on the first attempt. A significant part of Michael's career was spent at British Airways from October 2009 to July 2017, where responsibilities as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician included comprehensive inspections and repairs of various aircraft, including the 747-400 and 777-200. Academic qualifications include a foundation degree in Aircraft Engineering from Kingston University, completed in 2009.
