Phillip Kilgallon

Phillip Kilgallon has a diverse and extensive work experience in risk management and safety. Phillip started their career as a Corporate Head of Safety and Fire at Nakheel, where they were responsible for corporate compliance and providing technical expertise in HSE and Fire Safety. Phillip then worked as a Senior HSE Consultant at Connaught PLC Gulf, where they provided technical expertise and education on HSE to clients from various sectors. Phillip later joined the Government of Abu Dhabi as a Safety Health and Environment Specialist, managing risk evaluation, operational control, and contingency planning for various sectors. Phillip then moved to InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®) as a Director of Risk Management, Europe, India, Middle East and Africa, where they developed and implemented risk management policies across the regions. Currently, they are working as the Head of Risk and Safety at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, overseeing all UK and resort operations and ensuring safety compliance. Phillip leads a large team of safety practitioners and is responsible for creating an automated audit plan.

Phillip Kilgallon completed an MSc/PG Dip and BSc (Hons) First Class in Occupational Safety and Health / Fire Engineering Management at the University of Central Lancashire from 1999 to 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they pursued a Post Graduate Masters/Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health at The University of Salford.
