Michael Finan

Michael Finan is an experienced aviation professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the System Operations Duty Director at JetBlue since March 2006, Michael has held several key positions within the company, including A320 Captain, E190 Captain, and Director of Technical Learning. Michael also managed 200 pilots based in Orlando, FL, and was involved in pilot training as the Manager of E190 Pilot Training and Assistant Chief Pilot. Prior to JetBlue, Michael served as a Captain for Independence Air from June 2000 to July 2006. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science - Aviation from Thomas Edison State University and studies at UMBC from 1983 to 1986.
