Derek Swaim

Derek Swaim is a seasoned executive currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and President of JETNET, a leading provider of aviation market information, since August 2022. Concurrently, Derek is a Limited Partner at Stage 2 Capital, a venture capital firm focusing on early-stage B2B software companies. Previous roles include Executive in Residence at Silversmith Capital Partners and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Validity Inc. Derek has extensive experience in technology M&A advisory from positions held at Aeris Partners and Harris Williams & Co. Early in their career, Derek worked at Goldman Sachs and Berkshire Capital Securities LLC. Derek holds a BA in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
