Manjith Gambhir

Manjith Gambhir has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Manjith began their career in 2006 as a Senior Engineer at Tata Elxsi, where they worked on Linux OS, proprietary hardware boards, flash storage devices, and file systems. Manjith later implemented a file manager for a Linux-based TV for a Japanese vendor.

In 2008, Manjith joined NetApp as a Member of Technical Staff in the RAID development team. Here, they focused on NetApp's proprietary OS, Data ONTAP, and worked on ensuring storage resiliency and data availability against various failures.

After four years, in 2013, they transitioned to Tegile (A Western Digital Brand) and held roles as a Senior Member of Technical Staff and later as a Principal Developer. As part of this storage start-up, they contributed to the entire product stack, specializing in OpenSolaris based storage operating systems in the platform group.

Most recently, Manjith joined JetStream Software, Inc in 2020 as a Principal Engineer. Manjith is part of a small team responsible for creating a cloud-based Disaster Recovery solution. Their work involves developing code across various components like ESXi host, DR appliance, cloud object store, and cloud recovery site, enabling near real-time backup and restore of VMWare virtual machines in public and private clouds.

From 2002 to 2006, Manjith Gambhir attended NMAM Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication.
