Shama Zehra has extensive experience in business management, product development and marketing. Shama began their career in 1995 as an Officer in the Investment Banking Group at MCB Bank. In 1999, they moved to Standard Chartered Bank, where they served as Product Head PIA (Airline) Cobrand for Pakistan's first Frequent Flyer Credit Card. In 2006, they completed a summer internship at JP Morgan. Shama then worked as a Wealth Advisor at both Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs from 2007 to 2010. In 2009, they founded the Michigan Ross Business School Alums Entrepreneurs Network. In 2012, they founded and served as CEO of Aligned Independent Advisors. In 2014, they co-founded and ran a global social media technology firm, JETZY, from concept to active users in 175+ countries. During their time at JETZY, they implemented creative digital marketing strategies resulting in rapidly increasing audience reach from 150k to more than 5 million people monthly across platform in 175+ countries, 4400 cities within 18 months. Shama also formed partnerships with travel, hospitality, nightlife, wellness and concierge businesses (Airbnb, Emirates Airline, Trip. com, etc.). Shama held the role of Cofounder & CEO at JETZY part time from 2015 to 2018, and full time from 2019 onwards. Additionally, in 1990 they co-founded and served as Managing Partner of Zehra's.

Shama Zehra completed their MBA from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2007, majoring in Finance and Strategy. Shama also earned their MBA from the Institute of Business Administration in 2001, majoring in International Business. Her Bachelor's degree was obtained from Karachi University in 1993, majoring in Commerce. Shama also earned their FSC from St. Joseph's College for Women in 1991, majoring in Pre Engineering.
