Cathalijne Dortmans

Cathalijne Dortmans currently serves as a member of the Supervisory Board for both Hogeschool de Kempel and Jeugdformaat since 2021, and has previously held the position of Wethouder at Gemeente Helmond, overseeing youth, education, health, and diversity from 2018 to 2024. Other significant roles include General Secretary/Director at the Raad voor Volksgezondheid en Samenleving, and interim manager/consultant for various governmental bodies, including the Ministry of VWS and the Ministry of OCW. Cathalijne's prior experience encompasses key positions such as Statengriffier for the Provincie Noord-Brabant and Griffier within the Dutch House of Representatives, as well as advisory roles in the Ministry of General Affairs and the Ministry of Finance. Academic credentials include a BA in Political Science from Leiden University and an MA in English Language and Literature from Radboud University, alongside further education at the Erasmus School of Economics and Comenius Leergangen.
