Esther Stuurman

Esther Stuurman is an experienced professional in the field of youth care and social work, currently serving as a beleidsadviseur kwaliteit RVE Gezinshuizen en pleegzorg and project leader at Jeugdformaat since March 2017, focusing on tailored family house care projects in the Haaglanden region. With a strong educational background, including a Master of Arts in Youth Care and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Services from Hogeschool Leiden, Esther has also contributed as a lecturer in the faculty of Social Work and Applied Psychology from August 2022 to September 2023, and as a trainer at Jeugdformaat Academie. Prior experience includes roles in various organizations related to foster care and residential youth care, alongside conducting significant research in the field of family houses and step-parenting that received commendable evaluations.
