Erich Jacobs

Erich Jacobs has extensive experience in the technology sector. Erich began their career in 1995 as a Senior Associate in Finance Strategy & Planning (FSP) at Stream International. In 1997, they moved to Corporate Software as the VP of Strategic Planning, where they were involved in global growth opportunities, strategic acquisitions and divestitures, and the management buyout from Donnelley and Bain Capital. In 1998, Jacobs became President of Rebar Foundry, a Softbank Ventures funded corporate incubator. In 2000, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer of Corporate Software & Technology, where they revamped the application development, infrastructure, and support teams. In 2002, they moved to Level 3 Communications as SVP of New Technology Initiatives, and in 2006 they joined Insight as SVP of Global Software Services. From 2013-2018, Jacobs was CEO & CTO of ONKÖL, a design-centered, fully certified medical IoT hardware and attached SaaS infrastructure designed to bridge the healthcare communications gap. In 2016, they began teaching IT & MIS as an Adjunct Professor at Merrimack College. In 2018, they became President and VP of Technology at The Jewelers Board of Trade. In 2022, they will become a Board Member of the United States Kimberley Process Authority.

Erich Jacobs received their Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, followed by a Master of Science in Business from the same institution. Erich also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst certification.
