Shawn Plew

Shawn Plew has been working in the tech industry since 2005. Shawn started as a Webmaster at Indiana University - Purdue University at Indianaplis (IUPUI) and then moved on to become a Web Specialist. In 2008, they became a Website Developer & Web Applications Tester at TGFI, Inc. In 2010, they joined Formstack as a Software Developer and was listed as a Preferred Developer by Formstack in 2011. In 2007, they founded Mixwest and in 2011, they became a Senior UX Developer at Mobi Wireless Management. In 2018, they became a Software Engineering Manager at Tangoe, and in 2019, they became the Chief Product Officer & Co-Founder at Jewelr. Shawn is currently a Software Engineering Manager at Bloomerang.

Shawn Plew obtained a B.S. in Informatics - Media Arts and Science from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis between 2000 and 2004, as well as a Cert. of Applied Computer Sciences in Computer Science from the same institution between 2001 and 2004. Shawn also holds certifications from LinkedIn in Rules for Rising Leaders (2022), Lean Technology Strategy: Running Agile at Scale (2021), Getting Things Done (2021), Developing Secure Software (2021), and Learning Threat Modeling for Security Professionals (2020). In addition, they hold a certification in Ruby on Rails from Eleven Fifty (2014).
