Johnny Bui

Johnny Bui is an accomplished Senior Controls Engineer at Jewett Automation, where responsibilities include designing and programming custom automated machines since June 2018. Prior experience at Jewett Automation also includes roles as Controls Engineer II and Controls Engineer. Johnny pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University, with a minor in Mathematics and Physics, graduating in May 2018. Notable academic work includes a Senior Capstone Project on a Modular, Lower-Arm 3D Printed Prosthesis under the guidance of Zhifang Wang, Ph. D. Earlier experience includes an Electrical Engineer Internship at Jewett Automation, where contributions involved enhancing HMI functionality, testing I/O communication, interfacing robotic arms with PLC systems, and managing a team of electricians. Education was furthered at High Tech Academy - Highland Springs Technical Center from 2010 to 2012.
