A nurse with an MBA, Ilana has over 25 years of experience in the management of health care organizations. She has focused much of her business career on developing and implementing enterprise-wide business strategies, improving financial and operational performance, growing new lines of business. Throughout her career and her philanthropic activities, Ilaina has been passionate about supporting programs and services to support independent living for New York City’s senior population.

Ilaina is the founding CEO of Extend Fertility, LLC. Extend Fertility is the world’s first purpose-built egg freezing practice management company, partnering with physicians committed to value-based healthcare delivery. The company’s mission is to create a superb fertility preservation experience that is high quality, affordable and understandable.

Prior to Extend, Ilaina spent 15 years in executive roles within community-based health care organizations. She initiated the Chief Strategy Office function for CenterLight Health System, a long-term care organization undergoing a transformation from a nursing home organization to a long-term care health plan. Prior to CenterLight Ilaina served for 11 years as an executive with Visiting Nurse Service of New York, overseeing both strategy and operations. Prior to joining VNSNY, Ilaina worked for Deloitte Consulting in their health care practice for 11 years. Ilaina received a BS majoring in Nursing from Binghamton University, and an MBA in Health Care from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine/Baruch College.
