Jamie Katz

Jamie Katz is an experienced elementary school teacher currently serving as a 5th Grade Teacher at Montgomery County Public Schools since September 2019, having previously gained valuable experience as a Student Intern. Over the years, Jamie has held various positions at Capital Camps, including Cabin Counselor, Assistant Unit Head, and Programming Assistant. As a Planning Team Member for Terp Thon, Jamie contributed to dancer relations and fundraising efforts, culminating in a role as Executive Board Member and Fundraising Chair. Jamie also served as an Olami Campus Ambassador and completed internships with Prince George's County Public Schools and Jewish Community Center-Park Heights as a substitute teacher. With a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland, Jamie Katz possesses a strong educational foundation and a diverse range of experiences in teaching and youth development.
